Keywords:photochromic crystal, optical trapping

Optical trapping has been applied to the trapping of objects at various scales, from nanoscale below the wavelength of light to above the wavelength. The principle of optical trapping is the interaction between light, matter and medium. Optical trapping of objects that is dynamically controlled in optical properties, and also evaluating the properties of trapped objects based on their behavioral changes are expected. In this study, we observed optical trapping of a photochromic micro-crystal with photoisomerization by external light irradiation.
