To realize long-time operation of underwater probes in seawater, recharging by optical wireless power supply has been attracting attention. In this study, we investigated the distance dependence of the optical path length in water using a green laser beam, since a distance of more than 1 m is expected in actual underwater optical wireless power transfer. As a result, it was confirmed that the arrival rate of the laser beam decreased as the underwater optical path length increased.
