[19a-Z32-6] Fusion of measurement informatics and high-performance computation in total-reflection high-energy positron diffraction (TRHEPD)
Keywords:sensitivity analysis, supercomputer, total reflection high-energy positron diffraction (TRHEPD)
A general-purpose experimental data analysis method has been developed as an inverse problem analysis that explicitly calculates uncertainty by integrating measurement informatics and high-speed computation techniques. The method consists of an optimization process and sensitivity analysis. The latter enables appropriate variable set selection by the dense calculations near the optimal point using a supercomputer. The usefulness of the method was confirmed by the total reflection high-energy positron diffraction (TRHEPD) experiment at KEK, which is a new non-destructive structural analysis method for two-dimensional materials.
