High temperature treatment of several layers of graphene oxide (GO) in an ethanol atmosphere not only progresses defect repair but also forms turbostratic graphene with properties similar to monolayer graphene. In this study, we have attempted to form multilayer turbostratic graphene stacked films by high temperature treatment of multilayer GO thin films with spacer materials. By analyzing the structure by X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy, the expansion of the layer spacing and the spillover effect of the ethanol action to the interior were verified.
