中高校生を対象にした全国物理コンテスト「物理チャレンジ」と国際物理オリンピックに向けた日本代表選手候補者の研修が、2020年度ではオンライン化されて実施された。予選試験をオンラインCBTで実施することのメリットや、実験器具を使わないシミュレーション実験による実験試験などを紹介し、ニューノーマルでの物理チャレンジ・物理オリンピックの在り方を議論する。
