[19p-Z04-4] Preparation and evaluation of human lip mucosa phantom for mid-infrared spectroscopy
Keywords:biological phantom, mid-infrared ATR spectroscopy
We prototyped a biological phantom that reproduces the absorption spectrum of the human lip mucosa in the mid-infrared region. The purpose is to non-invasively measure the blood concentration of metabolic products such as sugars / lipids by analyzing the attenuated total reflectance (ATR) spectrum of the body surface. Urea, phosphate, mucin, etc. were added to an albumin-based protein gel substrate to obtain a phantom with a single correlation of 0.94 with the lip mucosa. Furthermore, sugars in a realistic blood concentration range were added to the phantom, and the possibility of concentration prediction by multivariate analysis of the spectrum was evaluated.
