[20a-A105-4] Characteristics and Control of Electrospray with Negative Corona discharge

The generation of electrospray with negative corona discharge can be regarded as a method of generating gas-liquid interfacial plasma. The discharge current and droplet emission observed in this system are controlled by the electric field at the tip of the Taylor cone (liquid shape generated by an electric field). In this study, focusing on this electric field, we numerically analyzed the electric field at the tip of the Taylor cone associated with corona discharge, and tried to control negative corona discharge and electrospray by applying a AC voltage superimposed DC voltage.
