[20a-C106-2] Photocatalytic measurement of TiO2 nanotube array/g-C3N4 composites prepared by thermal CVD with a tube furnace
Keywords:photocatalyst, carbon nitride, titanium oxide
We have focused on titanium dioxide nanotube arrays (TNAs) and graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) as photocatalyst materials, and have been working on structural control of TNA/g-C3N4 composites by thermal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) toward enhancement of their photocatalytic activity. In this presentation, our fluorescence (PL) measurements using hydroxyl radical trapping agents clarified that the photocatalytic activity of TNA/g-C3N4 composites under ultraviolet-visible light irradiation can become superior to that of only TNA, by controlling the deposition amount of g-C3N4 on TNA surface.
