Peptides have been designed and synthesized by mimicking natural proteins. Proline is an amino acid with unique properties. Especially, proline plays a significant role in secondary structure formation and stabilization in peptide due to its unique molecular structure. So that the development of peptide crystals utilizing the characteristics of proline can explore new physical properties of peptide crystals. In this study, we aim to design proline-containing tetrapeptides and evaluate their crystals and co-crystals formation using a new crystallization method using ethanol. For crystal analysis, we used optical microscopy and Raman spectroscopy.
