[20a-C302-7] Optical properties of electrochromic devices using WO3/NiO multilayers

Electrochromic devices using multilayers of tungsten oxide and nickel oxide thin films were fabricated by sputtering, and their optical properties were studied. The color of the device was found to change blue, transparent, and brown by changing the applied potential to the device to -2,5, +1.0, and +2.0 V. We consider that this result is promising for application to energy-saving smart windows.
