An easily accessible and non-invasive bio-fluid test envisaging a home collection protocol to characterize the pathological hallmarks of diabetes has been long sought after. Quantization of diabetic stage of patient is possible with topographical analysis (surface height variation) of micro-liter dried saliva droplet through phase shifting interferometry .
