In cancer ablation therapy, a magnetic material is implanted at the site of a cancer tumor that has heat-sensitive characteristics, and an alternating magnetic field is applied externally to heat and necrosis the tumor site. Therefore, it is essential to understand the heat generation characteristics of magnetic materials for the development of magnetic materials and their practical application as a treatment method. In this presentation, we will examine the differences in the evaluation methods for the exothermic properties of magnetic materials.
