Hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) defect centers have attracted attention as excellent single-photon sources because of their large single-photon emission rate and narrow spectral linewidths. In this talk, we will introduce the attractiveness of hBN defect centers as single-photon sources, focusing on our research results such as two-photon excitation of multilayer hBN defect centers, the estimation of dipole direction of hBN single defect centers using vector beams, and coupling of hBN defect centers with nano-optical fibers and nanofiber Brag cavities.
