Heteroepitaxial growth of compound semiconductors on silicon (Si) substrates is a promising technology in terms of realization of large-area multi-junction solar cells and heterogenious device integration. In this talk, growth technique and device demonstration of lattice matched diluted nitride alloys to Si will be presented.
