[20p-A402-1] Development of passive cooler for thermoelectric generator using water adsorption/desorption
Keywords:thermoelectric conversion, metal organic frameworks, hydrogel
In thermoelectric generation, enhancing heat transfer at the low temperature side is one of the challenges to improve the performance.
In this study, we aimed to develop passive cooler for the thermoelectric generator that utilizes the heat of phase change caused by the adsorption and desorption of water. We searched the suitable shape for the heat sink using metal-organic frameworks (MOF) by simulations and experiments, and we also explored the system that uses hydrogel as an absorbent.
