We report the theoretical study of Electromagnetically InducedTransparency(EIT) in the presence of the coupling field as an Ince Gaussian(IG) mode in 87Rb cold atomic ensemble. IG mode of p = m= 4 is considered for our study and corresponding spatial probe absorption profiles are obtained for various detunings by numerical calculations. Spatial dependent EIT is explored. IG modes has immense application in the field of high dimensional quantum information storage as it forms the complete set of solutions for paraxial wave equation in elliptical coordinates.
