[20p-C105-13] Thermoelectric properties of ladder polymer BBL n-doped using crown ether complexes

Keywords:thermoelectric conversion, organic semiconductor, n-type doping

Carrier doping of conductive polymers is an essential process for achieving high efficiency in thermoelectric conversion. So far, n-type (electron) doping in conducting polymers has lagged behind p-type (positive hole) doping due to issues such as atmospheric stability. In this study, we employed a ladder-type conducting polymer, poly(benzimidazo-benzophenathrolin) (BBL), as the parent framework and evaluated the thermoelectric properties of polymer films with n-type doping using crown ether complexes.
