Keywords:6G, sub-terahertz wave, technical concept

Research and development for the 6th generation mobile communication system (6G) which is the next generation system has already been promoted all over the world. 6G is expected to have a drastic performance improvement compared with 5G by combining many wireless technologies, and it is necessary to deal with new use cases assumed in the 2030s. In this paper, our direction of evolution of mobile communication system and technical concepts for 6G are described, and both the 6G use cases and the latest activities are introduced.
