This study is related to a brain disease called hydrocephalus. Currently, the mainstay treatment for hydrocephalus is the implantation of a tube for cerebrospinal fluid to flow from the ventricles to other parts of the body and a valve to control the flow to relieve pressure on the brain caused by cerebrospinal fluid. Currently, however, there is no way to accurately measure the flow of cerebrospinal fluid, so the adjustment of the valve is left to the experience of the physician. Since flow measurement is important for symptomatic improvement, this study proposes a measurement method using laser.
