[20p-C301-9] Highly sensitive Raman imaging of biological tissue by remote plasmonic enhancement with a column-structured silica layer
Keywords:Raman spectroscopy, Plasmonic enhancement, Bioimaging
This study investigated a bioimaging method using remote plasmonic enhanced Raman scattering (RPERS), which does not require contact between the metallic nanostructure and the analyte biological tissue. We constructed an RPERS plate with a silica columnar structure on silver nanoislands and attached a biological tissue to the top of the RPERS plate. As a result, we found that Raman enhancement of more than 104 orders was obtained in biological tissues, even though the distance between the silver nanostructure and the analyte specimen was more than 100 nm.
