[20p-M206-6] Physical reservoir computing with a living neuronal networks

Hirokazu Takahashi1 (1.IST, The Univ. Tokyo)

Keywords:reservoir computing

We have attempted to characterize the living brain as a physical reservoir and quantify its computational resources. Information processing capacity (IPC) is a measure that quantifies how past inputs are memorized the reservoir. So far, we have quantified IPC in the living neuronal system such as dissociate culture of neurons and the auditory cortex of rodents. In this study, we discuss how IPC depends on the plasticity in these neuronal system.
