[20p-P02-2] Theoretical Study on the effect of fluorine substitution in ITIC-based Non-Fullerene Type Organic Thin Film Solar Cells
Keywords:organic solar cells
Organic thin-film solar cells (OSCs) have efficient current generation. Recently, polymer/non-fullerene organic thin-film solar cells using non-fullerene molecules as acceptor materials has reported that they exhibit higher photoelectric conversion efficiency than polymer/fullerene organic thin film solar cells. We also succeeded in further improving PCE by replacing some of the non-fullerene-type acceptor structures with fluorine atoms. Therefore, we focused on PBDB-T/ITIC(D/A), PBDB-T-SF/ITIC(FD/A) in which the donor and acceptor molecules are partially fluorinated, PBDB-T/IT4F(D/FA), and PBDB-T-SF/IT4F(FD/FA). The purpose of this study is to elucidate the effect of fluorine substitution in donor and acceptor molecules on OSCs.
