[21a-A101-10] Optical Absorption Enhancement of a GaAs Quantum Well Embedded in an Air-bridge Bull’s-eye Optical Cavity

We have been investigating the possibility of using a bull's-eye structure containing GaAs quantum wells (QWs) as an optical cavity that significantly increases the photon absorption efficiency of gate-controlled quantum dots formed in the QWs without polarization dependence. In this report, we report photoluminescence excitation measurements on the fabricated resonator, which demonstrate an almost polarization-independent enhancement of QW absorption.
