We have previously increased the capacitance and improved the output of triboelectric devices by mixing polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) films with TiO2 fine particles, a high-k material with a high dielectric constant. However, it was found that there is an optimum amount of TiO2 fine particles to be mixed and that excessive addition causes a decrease in output. In this study, the reason for the existence of the optimum value was discussed by microstructural analysis and electronic property evaluation at the contact interface.
