In photovoltaic devices using all-inorganic halide perovskite semiconductors, the design of charge transport layers and their hetero-junction interfaces for increasing the output voltage to the level close to the Shockley-Queisser limit is shown based on the method of suppressing charge recombination. Examples of device compositions that enable high efficiency of power conversion in a wide light intensity range from sunlight illuminance to low illuminance such as indoor lightingare are introduced. Based on this, the future potential of high voltage generation in the perovskite photovoltaic device will be discussed.
