Keywords:three-dimensional magnetic orientation, modulated rotating magnetic field, dynamic nuclear polarization

Triplet-DNP, which is a dynamic nuclear polarization technique using photo-excited triplet electron spins, can achieve nuclear spin polarization of several tens of percent at room temperature in a low magnetic field. However, the nuclear spin polarization of powder samples suitable for the dissolution becomes much smaller than that of single crystal bulk samples because the polarization depends on the orientation of molecules with respect to the magnetic field applied for DNP. In this study, the powder samples for triplet-DNP were converted to magnetically oriented microcrystal array (MOMA) samples by using a frequency-modulated rotating magnetic field to evaluate their 1H spin polarizations.
