△ [21a-B104-9] Two phase coexistence of L21 + B2 phase in Ni2MnAl prepared by in-field annealing

The ferromagnetic L21 phase of Ni2MnAl has a low order-disorder temperature of 774 K. Therefore, a long heat treatment for one month is required to ordering from the B2 phase.
In addition, the obtained samples cannot clearly distinguish the Curie temperature of the L21 phase from the Néel temperature of the B2 phase.
On the other hand, we found that B2-L21 ordering is accelerated by annealing in a magnetic field.
In this study, we prepared samples with a high Curie temperature by decreasing the annealing temperature and accelerating the ordering in a magnetic field.The magnetic phase transition temperature was evaluated and the ordering process was clarified.
