我々のグループではZnSnP₂バルク太陽電池について最高変換効率3.87%を報告したが，更なる効率向上のためには，ZnSnP₂バルク結晶の少数キャリア寿命がサブnsと非常に短い点に改善の余地がある。本研究ではZnSnP₂バルク結晶の少数キャリア寿命の向上に向けて，低温PLやDLTS測定の結果と第一原理計算の結果を基に，非発光再結合中心として働く欠陥を同定した。
