[21a-P01-1] Evaluation of signal in polycrystalline diamond by alpha-particle irradiation

In order to develop a diamond-based radiation detector, carrier transport property of polycrystalline diamond was characterized. Polycrystalline diamond with stacked-layer structure was fabricated by HFCVD, and alpha-particle was irradiated to detect electric signal generated in the diamond. The bias voltage dependance of the signal suggested that contribution of hole was larger than that of electron in the current detector structure.
