[21a-P02-13] Observation of emergent giant magneto-inductance effect at room temperature

In recent years, flexible magnetic devices have received much attention for applications, as wearable electronics, small compasses, sensors, and motion detectors. The focus of this study is to increase magnetic field sensitivity by taking advantage of the emergent inductance in magnetic thin films. Here we report a new kind of giant magneto-inductance (ML) effect that exceeds 300% in NiFe alloy thin films on organic substrates. This study opens new avenues to the development of fundamental physics in emergent ML effect and practical applications in flexible magnetic sensors and devices.
