[21a-P03-5] Spatial Distribution of Magnetic Field Induced by Superconductors with Broken Time-Reversal Symmetry
Keywords:superconducting quantum interference device, unconventional superconductor, SQUID
Several unconventional superconductors are reported to break the time-reversal symmetry. These superconductors are predicted to produce a spontaneous magnetic field induced by the finite spontaneous edge current. Since the magnetic field is tiny and local, designing a micrometer-scale sensor with high sensitivity is required to detect it. This study evaluates the spatial distribution of the spontaneous magnetic field induced by chiral edge current based on a phenomenological model, and present a practical measurement method to detect the magnetic flux using the superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID).
