ABX3 typed perovskite quantum dot (PeQD) is a light source for the next generation of wavelength conversion films. Among the various PeQDs, red-emissive CsPbI3 PeQDs with high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQY) still not have been established their synthesis method under room temperature ambient. This is due to using a polar solvent and insufficient passivation of PeQD surface defects. To solve these issues, in this work, we have fabricated the PeQDs by passivating octylammonium iodide on the PeQD surface defects via ionic metathesis reaction. As a result, red-emissive PeQDs have achieved PLQY of about 100% by room-temperature synthesis without a polar solvent. Moreover, we have succeeded in fabricating the perovskite-polymer composite films with superior stability by mixing the prepared PeQDs and resins.
