[21p-A202-3] Frequency-Mixing Properties in Resonant Tunneling Diode Terahertz Oscillators

It has been reported that when a resonant-tunneling diode (RTD) is injected with own returned light or multi-mode light, multimode synchronous oscillation occurs due to a frequency mixing process. In this study, two-mode THz waves were injected into the RTD to investigate the oscillation state in order to briefly analyze the frequency-mixing process. In the presentation, the measurement results will be discussed in terms of the injection light intensity dependence.
