Keywords:superconductor, Bi2212, Intrinsic Josephson Junction

It is known that when a plateau-like structure (mesa structure) is formed on a Bi2212 single crystal, terahertz waves due to the AC Josephson effect and the cavity resonance effect oscillate. Creating an oscillating element with high reproducibility is indispensable for applied research such as multi-mesa synchronous radiations. This time, we created the device using wire bonding. Compared with the conventional method, it is expected to improve the reproduction accuracy of the oscillation characteristics affected by the resistance and inductance of the electrode portion. In the lecture, we will discuss the characteristics of the element created by wire bonding, the type and thickness of the metal used for the electrode, and the difference in damage to the element due to the difference in the diameter of the gold wire.
