We have developed the superconducting joint between Ag-sheathed multifilamentary (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3Oy [Bi-2223] tapes (DI-BSCCO®, Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.). The previous report, we discussed that there is an optimal value for uniaxial pressing pressure in the fabrication of the superconducting joint. In this report, we aim to establish the strategy to control the critical current of the superconducting joint. We discuss the effect of uniaxial pressing pressure on the fabrication of the joint.
