[21p-A401-2] Chemical and Biosensors Using Monolayer Graphene Surface

Yuko Ueno1 (1.Chuo Univ.)

Keywords:graphene, chemical and biosensors

We introduce a demonstration of a fluorescence detection type biosensor by using monolayer graphene surface modified with a fluorescent-labeled aptamer. The sensor selectively detects important proteins in the body such as cancer markers. We also report on our recent studies on the characteristic properties of monolayer graphene electrodes in electrochemical detection, which depend on the potassium ion concentration in the sample solution.
