物質上では電子振動等のミクロなダイナミクスに起因して熱励起エバネッセント波(波長8—20 μm)が発生している.本研究では,外部光源を用いずに物質上の局在波を分光検出する,パッシブTHz近接場分光顕微鏡(SNOS)の開発を行っている.開発したパッシブSNOSを用いてGaN上の近接場減衰計測を実施し,結果を基にパッシブ近接場散乱モデルを提案する.
