Quantum optical coherence tomography (QOCT) using broadband quantum entangled photon pairs is expected to further improve the resolution. In the microcavity structure with a short element length, the amount of phase mismatch is extremely small, and broadband photon pairs generation device by spontaneous parametric downward conversion (SPDC) can be realized. In this presentation, we report the design of broadband photon pairs generation device using vertical microcavity structure.
