[21p-B204-5] Superconducting Dome and Magnetic Quantum Critical Behaviors in Two-dimensional NbO2 Layers

In high-temperature superconducting cuprates, superconductivity appears in the two-dimensional CuO2 layer. Since the parent compounds are antiferromagnetic Mott insulator where Fermi level locates on a half-filled single band, the strong correlation is pronounced. It is known that carrier doping to the antiferromagnetic phases suppresses magnetic interactions, resulting in the appearance of the superconducting dome.However, the relationship between the magnetic interaction and superconductivity is still an open question, and the number of compounds exhibiting such "strongly correlated superconductivity" is very limited. Therefore, we focused Li1−xNbO2, which has a similar strongly correlated single-band structure and exhibit superconductivity in the two-dimensional NbO2 layer, to clarify its electronic phase diagram.
