[21p-C200-5] RE hydrogen system demonstration project undertaken in Iki-shima.
Keywords:Hydrogen, Fuel cell, Water electrolysis
This project is a demonstration project that supplies part of the electricity from the Trafugu fish farm in Iki-shima, Nagasaki Prefecture, completely independently using renewable energy. In the daytime, solar power is used to supply the necessary power to the pumps used in the fish farm, and the surplus power is used to electrolyze water to produce hydrogen and oxygen and store them. At night and in bad weather, the stored hydrogen is supplied to the fuel cell to supply power 24 hours a day and support BCP. In addition, the exhaust heat generated by electrolysis and fuel cells is supplied to the fish tank, and the water temperature is raised a little to accelerate the growth of fish. Furthermore, the oxygen generated by water electrolysis is supplied to the fish tank to increase the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the fish tank. The result is faster fish growth. This RE hydrogen system is an ideal system that uses up all of the hydrogen, oxygen, and waste heat obtained from renewable energy, reduces CO2, and improves productivity in fish farms.
