[21p-C205-10] Examination of microstructure parameters of scintillator resin composites.

Keywords:composite of scintillator and resin, microstructure parameters

Scintillator resin composites are composites of powdered ceramic scintillators solidified with transparent resin, with improved light output through microstructure control being promoted. Conventionally, the powder fill factor and mode diameter have been used as microstructural features of composites. This time, the normalized boundary length was defined as a new microstructural feature. In order to detect slight differences in the microstructural features, the microstructural features between samples were analyzed after determining the field of view size at which significant differences were obtained by t-test.
