[21p-P02-2] GPU Acceleration of Fast Calculation Method for Hologram Based on Object Sparsity

Acceleration of calculation speed in holographic 3D displays is important. We have been studying the calculation algorithm for accelerating the 3D FFT. When the 3D object is distributed sparsely, our 3D FFT-based method enables the reduction of calculation amount by diving the 3D FFT according to the object sparsity and processing each component individually. However, the effect of our proposed algorithm is not clear in the implementation of GPU. This study was performed to clarify its effect.
