[21p-P08-4] Effect of an Impurity on the Liquid Phase Synthesis Process of Cu nanoparticles

The physical property of metallic materials is generally controlled by actively utilizing lattice defects. However, for metallic “nanomaterials”, only the morphologies and sizes are mainly focused, and the defects have been overlooked. In the present work, we electrochemically evaluate the effect of the impurity in solution on the defect formation of Cu nanoparticles in electroless deposition process. Additionally, we also introduce the actual example of the property control of nanoparticles by the defects.
