[21p-P14-4] Effect of carrier injection on energy spectra of CdTe semiconductor detectors

CdTe radiation detectors have the advantages of high energy resolution, detection efficiency, and the ability to operate at room temperature.However, the Schottky type, which has higher energy resolution, suffers from a phenomenon called polarization,in which the performance degrades after long periods of continuous use.In this study, we examine the effect of carrier injection by measuring the energy spectrum after irradiating the detector with laser pulses that simulate radiation for 30 minutes.
