[21p-P17-7] Improvement of photothermal properties of grating structured silver nanoparticle thin films using simultaneous propagating and localized surface plasmon resonance excitation

Keywords:surface plasmon resonance

There are two types of surface plasmon resonance excitation (SPR), propagating type and localized type, but there are few examples of photo-thermal properties evaluated by simultaneously exciting two types of plasmons. In this study, silver nanoparticle (AgNPs) thin films with grating structures were prepared, and the photothermal properties were evaluated by measuring the current using a thermoelectric conversion device by simultaneous excitation of propagating and localized surface plasmons.
