[22a-A101-7] Behavior of Dressed Photons in Systems Containing Impurities

Suguru Sangu1, Hayato Saigo2, Motoichi Ohtsu3 (1.Ricoh Co., Ltd., 2.Nagahama Inst., 3.Res. Origin Dressed Photon)

Keywords:dressed photon, quantum density matrix, spatial light localization

In the processing method (dressed photon phonon-assisted annealing) in which impurities are spatially distributed while irradiating light, the mechanism by which impurities (pairs) are fixed at specific positions is considered based on the numerical simulation results using a quantum density matrix. Simulations in a one-dimensional lattice confirm the dramatic changes in the localization characteristics of dressed photons depending on the positions of the two impurities. The relationship between this spatial localization and the fixation of impurity positions, that is, the cooling mechanism, is analyzed in detail.
