△ [22a-A105-11] Improvement of the detectability of α-synuclein fibrils in serum on liposome-immobilized biosensor by adding ions
Keywords:Biosensor, Liposome, Alpha-Synuclein
α-synuclein (αSyn) is considered to be a causative agent of Parkinson's disease (PD). We have developed a method to detect αSyn fibrils in solution by immobilizing liposomes on a sensor for early diagnosis of PD. In this study, we examined the improvement of detectability by salt addition using mainly a QCM sensor. Furthermore, the detectability was confirmed by measuring actual patient serum. As a result, although differences were observed in each serum, the trend of chronological change in QCM signal was different between PD and non-PD patients, suggesting the discriminability of this developed method for the serum.
