一般にガラスは熱の不良導体として知られるが,我々は,過飽和MgOの結晶析出による高熱伝導性と屈折率整合による透明性を併せ持つ新規ガラス複合材料の作製に成功した.しかし,ガラス転移点Tg (690°C) が結晶化温度Tp (790°C)に近く熱的安定性 (ΔT=Tp−Tg ) が低いため,形態制御性が失われていた.そこで我々は,少量の添加がTgとTpに大きな影響を及ぼすNb2O5に着目し,Nb2O5とLa2O3の混合比がTgとTpに与える影響を調査した.
