Superconducting diodes have different critical currents depending on the current direction.
The diodes are expected to be applied to wireless power transmission using microwaves. It is needed to measure the rectification effect of AC signals in the microwave band above a frequency of 300 MHz. In this study, we fabricated superconducting diodes using YBa2Cu3Oy (YBCO) thin films deposited on PrBa2Cu3Oy (PrBCO) buffer layers and measured the rectification effect on AC input signals using a rectification effect measurement system in the microwave frequency range.
