By measuring the ¹⁴C concentration of old tree rings with high accuracy, the past solar activity and cosmic ray increase phenomenon have been investigated. Since the ¹⁴C concentration increased in the atmospheric nuclear test is returning to the pre-experimental concentration, the ¹⁴C concentration in the ecosystem due to solar activity and cosmic ray increase phenomenon is analyzed by analyzing the ¹⁴C concentration in modern annual plants with high accuracy. Real-time measurement of concentration dependence is expected. In this presentation, we report the annual variation of ¹⁴C concentration in pinus pumila using a high sensitivity accelerator mass spectrometer at Yamagata University.
